Theyll also keep the foliage off the ground, allowing better air circulation and preventing disease.  Dont wait too long before installing cages since plants grow quickly this time of year.

Plant of the Day - Swamp Milkweed. Asclepias incarnata, commonly called swamp milkweed is a butterfly magnet! It attracts butterflies as a nectar source and is an important food source for the larval stage of monarch butterflies. Plant in full sun - grows up to 4 feet tall.
